Hello All, My ggg-Grandfather George Washington DRIVER was b. Screven Co, GA 2 Mar 1820 he married #1Susan A. Unknown. They were the parents of my gg-Grandfather William Riley DRIVER b. 18 Nov 1847 Ware Co, GA. According to the births of children they apparently moved to FL between 1851-1854. I found them on the 1860 census in Suwannee Co p.2. George Washington married #2 Christiana Magdeline Poucher 17 July 1870 at Suwannee Co, FL. George Washington DRIVER & William Riley DRIVER both served in 2nd FL Cav Cos D & G, US. They were buglers. William Riley was the Father of my g-Grandfather Lafayette DRIVER. Are there any other decendants out there who would like to exchange information? Or does anyone know my family who could tell me something about them. I would so love to have some pictures. Archibald McNeill is using his equity in his Slaves to secure a debt with the Southern Life Insurance and Trust Company. This indenture made the twelfth day of August in the year One thousand eight hundred and forty, Between Archibald McNeill of Alachua county in the Territory of Florida and his wife of the first part and George Field president of the Southern Life Insurance Company of the second part ___ Whereas the said Arch.
