Knight his certain promissory Note, Subscribed with his own hand and bearing even date with these presents, whereby the said James Martin hath promised to pay the said Joseph J. Knight or bearer Five hundred Dollars on or before the twenty fifth day of October next ensuing the date hereof for value received, Now the said James Martin by these presents has granted, Bargained and Sold and doth by these presents grant, bargain and Sell unto the said Joseph J. Knight his heirs and Assigns, One large Six Mule Waggon and Harnesses Six Mules viz. Three Sorrels One Bay One Black and One Black rone Mules.
