My grandparents, John H. & Roseann Yon are listed in the 1910 Federal Census with their children. My father, John C. is listed as being one month old. (He was born on March 10, 1910 in Jackson Co, FL.) The census was taken on April 18th in Jackson Co, FL, Precinct 4, Richter. I am reasonably certain that my father was born there, but I cannot find it on a map. They are listed in the same place on the 1920 Federal Census - Jackson Co, FL, Precinct 4, Richter. They are listed on the 1935 Florida State Census as living in Jackson Co, FL, Precinct 4, Cottondale. Is Richter and Cottondale the same place? Did the name change from Richter to Cottondale?
