He served in the CSA and there are the prisoner records from National Archives, as well as the Widow's Pension Records from FL--all of which have been forwarded to me and which I could forward to the researcher as a starting point. There are no records in our family that prove where and when William TODD was born. I have selected your organization (TGS) because of its proximity to Gadsden Co., FL, the county in which William TODD enlisted in the army of the CSA. I have also obtained from the website of the SCV, the actual statistics of William TODD. Although I am a native Floridian and almost all my mother's maternal and paternal people lived in Gadsden CO., FL, I, a resident of TX, do not anticipate a trip back to FL in the near future.
