    1. [FLGADSDE] James (Jim) Franklin
    2. This message is from Albert T Franklin, who had a lot of the cemeteries in Jackson Co FL surveyed for us ( When Cindy and I visited him, he handed us a big box of surveyed cemeteries on the spot, no questions asked.) If someone out there has the new Master Index for FTM and could look on the index for me. It just might answer the question for him. Thanks, Betty Hello to all Genealogists: Here I am again with my meager attempt to find my great- grandfather. I haven't been looking but 40 years. I thought that by this time I could have found him someplace. I have looked everywhere I know. I have about come to the conclusion he must have been hatched and not born. My Father was Thomas Franklin, My Grand-father was James (Jim) Franklin My Grandfather was in Glynn Co. Ga. in 1840 as I understand it. He was supposedly born there in a little community know then as Cater Town. It no longer exists, but was located about 20 to 30 miles north east of Brunswick Ga. I seen it on an old map years ago. My father was raised by his maiden aunt, Betty Franklin. My grandmother died at childbirth of my father and my aunt took him to raise. There was My Great- Grandfather, His Sister Betty. and a possible brother Benjamin. My Aunt Betty remembered then as coming on a boat. She must have been a young child at the time. My grand-father was born in 1841 to 1848. There is no listing for Betty or Elizabeth Franklin in an Irish passenger list of immegrants. If there is any one that can help me I sure would appreciate hearing from you. I would be glad to re-imburse you for all expenses you might encounter and a little extra besides. I am: Albert T franklin, 2963 Woodward St Marianna, Fl. 32446. 850-482-3476 albert@digitalexp.com
