Hello list. I received a copy of a probate file of my GGG grandfather, John Colson. In the file it says " Received of William Forbes, Executor of John Colson, dec'd, six dollars for the tuition of John Colson in the Quincy Male Academy for the third quarter ending 31st of July 1835. I was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this school? Also, it says " hauling 6940 feet lumber from Colson's Mill". Has anyone ever heard of Colson's Mill? This probate file is 52 pages long & is hard to read. There are numerous people from the area mentioned in the file. Thank you!! Doug Colson
