Hello Brian, I was born and raised in Havana and many of my ancestors were some of the early settlers in the Gadsden Co, FL area. If you have any info regarding the history of the Gadsden County area and the little towns around there (Havana, Scotland, etc.), I would appreciate if you would share it with me. I am especially interested in Scotland and the origin of the name. My McElvy/McElvey family originated from Scotland (the country). Thanks!
