    3. Hi, Mark, Since I am the first to comment, let me say that the book you referenced, "Pens Vital Recds, Deaths, 1899-1910" recorded the ..."death records for the city of Pensacola, Florida." I put it in quotes, because that's what the Preface says. However, in going through this book, I hfind numerous references places OUTSIDE the city limits, e.g., Brent, Perdido, Goulding, even a Salem, Va, and a "Ship SS Thlema. So, I think it's fair to assume that deaths outside the city limits are in this book. remembering, of course, that such records of birth and death were not required by law until sometime after 1910, I believe. So, we are tickled to have these, and MORE tickled that our Health Department allowed us to transcribe them!!!! Right, folks? Additionally, the Cause of Death IS given, though you might need your medical dictionary! ;=) For instance, "Inanition, Dropsy, Consumption, Acute Centonatis, Infantile Itrophy, and Mamtian Premature! You're Welcome, Mark Next!
