Just a personal opinion, but I bet the reason lots of folks died becouse of the yellow fever even tho there was a cure was becouse of complications. They dident have antibiotics then, and then of course there were the poor, or isolated folks who dident have access to the cure (I think someone already mentioned that possibility) Denise
