I too am looking for a brick wall that involved a fellow with the name of John Franklin ?. I hate to pass up any chance to put my info out, so here is what I have. John Franklin Rose or John Franklin Rowe. This fellow married an Ella Wynn/Winn Nov 1906 in Perry, Taylor County, FL. In tracking any spelling of Rose or Rowe I have found a John Rowe and wife, Bertie, in 1920 Escambia census boarding with Estella Nordstrom (39) who owns/operates a millinery shop there. She has a 14 yr old dau, Ruth, that, for some reason, did not attend school during 1919 school year. Estella was born in Sweden, her dau. b. in FL and is listed as a widow. John is 27 and Bertie is 24. This caught my eye because Bertie was Ella's middle name. My mother, Rosa Lee/Rosalie, was somehow associated with the Winn/Wynn family.
