    1. Re: [FLESCAMB] Pensacola memories
    2. Marilyn, I enjoyed your letter on Pensacola memories very much. It brought back so many memories of all the same things and places you talked about, plus a few memories of my own. Those were the good old days for sure. I am from the Pensacola area, I lived in Beach Haven but we had a Warrington Post Office address. Twice a month we would go in to town and pay bills and do some shopping, then go eat at Woolworths or the restaurant in the Navy Point DepartmentStore and also there was a buffet place of which I cannot remember the name, that was in town. I went to St. Johns Catholic and to Catholic High the same time you did. Did you by chance go the St. Johns? I went to school with a Marilyn at St. Johns, in fact I have some pictures of some of my classmates. You and I are apparently around the same age. I know you mentioned St. Joseph's Church, I am not sure if they had a school or not. My family used to go crabbing in Pensacola Bay and we would fish off the old Pensacola Bay Bridge. I miss all the good fresh seafood from there. Hopefully in a year we will move back to the area. My husband is retired and I am retired from a school district of thirty years, but I am still working part time. Guess I have to due something instead of sitting around doing nothing. It bores me to no end. It is our plans to go back there. I would like to hear from you and talk about all the memories if you would like. As Bob Hope would say, " Thanks for the memories". Pat
