So how many people went to a Prom or Homecoming Dance at the Pensacola Beach Building/Pavilion and then took a romantic walk through the sand to stroll on the Pier??? Where do the kids have dances now? Proms were lots different then-- no limo's, no expensive dinner before hand, no staying out all night afterwards -- just a basic dance with a live band and full, frilly dresses. The scariest part was all the young drivers trying to make it safely across the old Pensacola Beach Bridge. Take care all Marilyn
