Hi Evan, Good to hear from you too. I suspected I would. Good idea about checking the city directories. I should have thought of that - DUH. That should remove all doubt. First, I am pretty sure all 4 theaters were there at the same time. The consensus that is building, is that the FLORIDA was, as you say, between Gregory and Wright streets. And the SAENGER was, of course, were it is now. The ISIS was directly across from the San Carlos, and the REX was a few doors north. Of course the city directory may prove us all wrong. Thanks for offering to go to the library and ck, but don't make a special trip. It's not that urgent. Congratulations on your retirement.
