It was from me, Marilyn Thomas Hansen. I only recently joined the list but since all of you sound like good friends, I wanted to introduce myself. You can find me in Mona's request for help yesterday on the Arbona family (generation 5) My mom is 86 years old with a very sharp mind. She descends from quite a few early Pensacola settlers, Commyns, Bonifay, Rocheblave, Lavalle, Philibert etc. We lived in the house with my great grandmother, Theresa Rocheblave Commyns for a good portion of my early years. My sister, Barbara Thomas Deep and I are the hobby genealogists in the family. Our family house was on Barcelona St. (where it is now a parking lot). We attended St. Michaels school (no longer there) and Catholic High (no longer there). Does anyone detect a pattern here. I now live in Mississippi, and Barb is in Montgomery where my mom has moved in the last couple of years. She graduated from Pensacola High in 1931. If any of you have any relatives who went there about this time, she could probably tell you some stories about them. My dad is buried at Barrancas but all of our other relatives are in St. Michaels, except for a couple at St. John's. I'ld love to share info with any of you. Mona, There have been a couple of children added to that list since I sent it to you, a divorce along the way and a couple of marriages coming up. Take care all. Marilyn
