    1. [FLESCAMB] Barron DeKaleb Rushing
    2. I found Barron D. on the 1860 census. Like Deborah said, " he was in Coffee county, Al ". but later moved to Pike County. Somehow these two families go way back, because Stephen and family were in Pike County Alabama in 1850, living with Fredrick and Mary Peace. then later moved to Barbour County. I said before that Charles Rushing was married to Mattie Kersey, and I meant Martha " Mattie " Harrell. They were married June 11, 1884 in Milton , Fl. Mattie must have been an older sister to Samantha Harrell Kersey. I know that Callie Harrell Soles is the sister of Samantha because I found her on the 1900 Escambia Census living with Ben and Samantha. The only thing that I have been able to find on the Harrells is back in 1860 in Barbour County, Al. I found Mary A. Harrell 44, Samantha 10, Byrd 3 and Ruth 2. Never did find out what happend to Ruth. did find Byrd Harrell age 13 living with Ben and Samantha Kersey in Barbour County in 1870. Then lost track of him. Family legend has it that he moved to Red Fish Point with the family and he is buried there. I can't find him on any Santa Rosa Census. He would have been long before Walter Turners children, so they wouldn't have know if he is buried in the cemetery. The Rushing's , Harrell, and Kersey's are all connected. Just have to put the puzzle together. Does anyone else know these families? Also I'd like to hear from anyone that is connected to my Carroll Family. Ain't this fun ??? Doris
