The earliest City Directory at the Public Library is 1885 but there are gaps for the first several years. 1885 - 1916 (some gaps) 1931, 1934, 1936, 1940. 1944-1992 (excluding 1945, 1951, 1953, 1982, 1983, 1990.) They are on 3 microfilm rolls at the Library. The earliest directories are too fragile to handle or to copy.
