I have notice several times that many of our ancestors originated in Baldwin Co. AL then settled in Escambia Co. Is this a migration pattern? Can anyone fill in details? What was in Escambia Co. that people moved there? (Or am I so unfamiliar with the area, that Escambia is really a hop, skip, and jump away?) My Grandfather, Warren Leslie WHITE, was born in Robertsdale, Baldwin Co., AL. He eventually settled in Milton, Santa Rosa Co. I always thought the movement had to do with the Navy and its base in Pensacola. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks in advance. Paula B. in Cleveland, OH
