Very valuable resources for those of us with leads in Jefferson Co. The back pages of Vol. II has a map of the county with a list from 1 to 214 of the cemeteries in Jefferson County, Alabama plotted on it. It also has a seperate list with a description of the cemeteries and directions on several pages after the map. However it is not a list of EVERY cemetery in Jefferson Co. If you need a lookup or two, I would be glad to help, or you could order the books from the Birmingham Genealogy Society. I find that Vol. I is the more productive for me. The dates and locations you are looking for would probably determine what is best for you. I understand that they will soon be out with Vol III. They are inexpensive, thorough, well laid out and definately productive. Regards, Bob Pensacola, FL >>
