    3. Baron deKalb Rushing and his full-blood Indian wife, Serena, were my grandmother's grandparents. Serena was born in Tallapoosa Town, Coosa Co, in 1828 (source: death cert of daughter, Mary Anna Phoebe Rushing White, wife of Joseph, son of Levi W. White and Elizabeth S. Bruster) and Baron was born in Montgomery Co, AL, in 1828. They married in 1848 in Pike Co, living later in Coffee Co, and dying in Walton Co. They're buried in Euchee Valley Cemetery near Euchee Anna. One of Baron's brothers was an Alabama Senator. I think Charles D. was the son of Samuel Rushing, in the Santa Rosa Co (1860, I think) census listed as "Mariner". ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, March 01, 2000 3:52 PM Subject: Re: [FLESCAMB] Benjamin F.
