RE: MCVOY and MCAVOY (MCBOY/MCBOYD/MACBOY/M'BOYetc.) and ISABEL MILON (*finally know correct spelling.) ca.1750-1850 in Savannah/St.Augustine/Pensacola/Mobile/BaldwinCoAL and vicinity. DOES anyone know if either JOHN MCAVOY (MCVOY) or ISABEL MILON ever received a SPANISH LAND GRANT? I know WILLIAM (GUILLERMO) and DIEGO (*JAMES) MCAVOY/MCVOY did. But no clue what happened to their parents JOHN & ISABEL MILON MCVOY. Also, WILLIAM and DIEGO had an older sister ANA who was b. abt 1771? and an older brother JOAQUIN or JUAN who was born before 1775. What ever happened to them. Who did they marry--if anyone? Has anyone seen them on any records. The only mention I have ever seen of them is in REGINA MANDRELL'S book 1988 on the MORENO family. **IS THERE A COPY ANYWHERE OF THE FLORIDA COLONY 1783 CENSUS? I saw something on ANCESTRY.COM for JOHN MACVOY being named on this census. But the only 1783 I saw on-line was for east FLORIDA and only mentions a JOHN MCVAY in a military company of some man named YOUNG. PLEASE--does anyone know WHERE I can find this census info/roster?
