MARIA BAIRD/JOSEPH BAIRD/1790's/Relationship to GERALD BYRNE and MCVOY families On LDS on-line http://www.familysearch.org there is a listing of a marriage with a MARIA BAIRD to "a" GERALD "BYRNS" abt 1796. I am a descendent of GERALD BYRNE and wf. ANN PALMER who (as far as I know) did not die until 1818 in MOBILE or BALDWIN CO AL. The family of GERALD BYRNE of IRE was in PENSACOLA and MOBILE before settling in BALDWIN CO AL where GERALD was murdered by Indians in 1814. I also noted that "a" JOSEPH BAIRD was listed on the ROSTER of MCBOY'S 14th REG'T of MS MILITIA in the WAR OF 1812 as was one of GERALD BYRNE'S sons. GERALD'S daughter MARGARET BYRNE, b.1783 ST.AUGUSTINE(?) married WILLIAM MCVOY(GUILLERMO MACABOY) my ancestors (m. abt 1799 Mobile?) OK-- Does anyone know WHO this GERALD BYRNS is in the LDS record and WHO the MARIA BAIRD listed was? I know there are many errors in these records, but also alot of good stuff too. But I am PUZZLED about this one! PLEASE if anyone has info BAIRD families of WEST FLORIDA TERRITORY or MISSISSIPPI TERRITORY ca. 1783-1820, I would appreciate any help. ALSO --always seeking info on MCVOY/MCBOY/MACABOY BYRNE/BYRN/BYRNS/BYRNES/O'BYRNE/O'BYRN etc. as well as PALMER, HERNANDEZ, HERNANDES, ALLMAN in the late 1700's to early 1800's. Thanks.
