There were rumors that the historic part of town washed away! We drove down there yesterday .......... nothing we saw had washed away. There is a lot damage ..... it all looks as though it can be repaired. Many huge oaks are down, the gazebo in the park looks as though there is NO damage still standing proud. We will survive this as we have all other storms. One home in the historic town that I saw that amazes me is the old house with shutters that has been there as long as I can remember.
