I checked census records for Hancock County, Georgia for 1830, 1840, and 1850 and had narrowed it down to his father being either John Jones or Ambrose Jones in Hancock County, Georgia. I also heard from my Mother's cousin that the children of Lazarus were John Ambrose (1-2-1854-4-7-1929), George William (b. 8-30-1863), Ada Clanton Jones (m. unknown Burge) and died in Wing, Covington County, Alabama, Shada Ann no DOB or DOD (married Nathaniel Vanderwall Clopton), Sallie (m. unknown Henderson) (1856-1891), Phil (3-14-1877-3-25-1962), and Andrew. I don't know anything about Andrew . Sallie died at age 35 in 1891, but I don't have access to the mortality index records. Let me know how much I owe you for your help. Judy McKnight
