    3. Vanessa: I can understand your curiosity. I had to send my fathers records in because the fire burned a lot of the records in 1972. I had to stronghold my uncles to do it and I don't think they did. My father's records DID turn out to be burned so they gladly rec'd them The Cert. is DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY. name: Eric Griffiths who probably retired down in this area (south Florida) where a very lot of then do retire to. He probably died here, or his wife died after he did, and all the objects in their residence were auctioned off for the benefit of the heirs, if any. There is no serial number on it. "outstanding performance of duty during the period 12 Aug 1985 thru 25 July 1986 while serving on special detail as an industrial engineer with the Tactical Computer Terminal AN/UVQ-30....... cost Analysis Team, CECOM.......Mr. Griffith's performance is.....". (a lot of nice things said about him. Apparently he had no military rank) "a highly desirable asset to the U.S. Army Commumnications Electronics Command." A signature by a Major General USA, Commanding. Incidentally, I found a wealth of frames in three thrift stores for a fraction of the cost of new ones. We are busy fitting pictures to frames.
