I am in search for Labon Hobbs as I have no dates or anything on him. Labon was the second husband of my GGG Grandmother, Laney (Skinner) Kendrick [widow of Sheldrick Kendrick]. Laney was born October 10, 1823. As a widow, Laney Skinner Kendrick married L. Hobbs August 02, 1882 in Conecuh County. Some one told me that L. Hobbs was for Labon. Laney and HOBBS moved to Escambia Counrt, FL shortly after their marriage and resided in the buriville community. Laney died there on April 29, 1902 and is buried in the Byrneville Cemetery. I do not know when Labon Hobbs died. I'm assuming in Escambia County somewhere. Any help appreciated, Leon Weekley Bay Minette, Alabama
