    3. would your mother have any memories about the Children's Home Society or their charges? This would of been about 1930. I am trying to find info about my mother. She died in 1997. ----- Original Message ----- From: <EWillis104@aol.com> To: <FLESCAMB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 01, 2004 5:51 PM Subject: Re: [FLESCAMB] Re: FLESCAMB-D Digest V04 #41 I didn't live in Pensacola (Escambia County) - and I don't now - but my dad had an office there for many years - so I was a regular visitor to Pensacola. I have lots of memories that I can write about. In fact, I have some of my deceased mother's memories, too - as she wrote many of them down. She didn't live in Pensacola - but often visited her cousin and even worked at the Walgreens downtown on Palafox. So keep me posted on what your plans are. 3. I, also would like to know about the Children's Homes in and around that area. My half-sister was in one during the 1920's. Her name was Mildred Louise Miles. She was probably born early 20's and was put in a home at the age of 5. Any help will be much appreciated. 3. keep me in mind if you find out anything, mother was born 1916 and was also put into the Children's Home when she was about 5/6 years old. In 1920 she was still living with her "grandmother", Mahala Wynn, but in 1930 I find her with the others in the Pensacola Home on 705 E Jordan Street. Have you ever tried to obtain her file? If so, what did they tell you? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dorothy Bolmon" <abolmon@nctv.com> To: <FLESCAMB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2004 5:08 PM Subject: Re: [FLESCAMB] Re: FLESCAMB-D Digest V04 #41 I, also would like to know about the Children's Homes in and around that area.
