Hi all, I have been having a hard time trying to trace the family of my ggrandmother, Leona Clara GREEN. She married my ggrandfather, Francis A. BOGHICH, about 1877 in Santa Rosa County.....at least I think that they married there, it is where they lived. I didn't have any information on her at all until the 1880 census was put online on Family Search. I found her listed as Leona Bozhich.........tsk tsk.. Her mother Lana A., a widow, and her sister Minnie M. GREEN, are living with Leona and Frank BOGHICH (in precinct 1 in Santa Rosa, Florida. Leona was born October 26, 1860 in Florida, possibly Santa Rosa Cty. Her father ? GREEN was born in South Carolina. Her mother Lana A. ? was born in Alabama and was 40 years old in 1880. Her sister Minnie M. GREEN was 12 years old in 1880 and was born in Alabama. I have come across two marriage records for a Minnie GREEN in Santa Rosa County but am not sure if either are for my Minnie GREEN. These records seem to conflict with each other: #1 Minnie GREEN m. Thomas GASKINS 2-26-1882 #2 Minnie GREEN m. Jesse W. JONES 2-26-1882 If anyone has any information on GREENS in SR county or Alabama that fit these people I would certainly appreciate your telling me about them.
