Mona, So glade to see you on, I would be intrested if these McNair's are connected to Joe's line for if they are they are also connected to mine through my late huband. Now my second husband is a THURMAN. Been needing to get in contact with you on that we are looking for the parents of ELIJAH THURMAN of SIMPSON CO Mississppi, dont you have a THURMAN line as well in Mississippi???? Also there are some MCNAIRS in Simpson County. What I am getting at here is there a possible connetion. I know some of the GATES that are tied with this line came to PENSACOLA, FL. Also there was a MCNAIR that led Confederated troups during the Civil WAR. And a GATES the came to Pensacola and lead troups back to Mississippi. What a small world.
