    3. If you send it to Donna Buchanan, hostess for the Santa Rosa County genweb site, everyone can read it. If more of us would put Northwest Florida records on-line, we could have a site comparable to "Tracking Your Roots" . Bible records are especially important, because they're rarely shared. I'm putting the Ward-Kirkland Bible on-line. A cousin has had it for years and kept it secretive. Another cousin (thanks, Carole) sent copies of it to me a few months ago, after she discovered it had been passed down through the Reuben Ard line for generations. The original Reuben Ard was on the 1820 Spanish Census of Escambia County, East Bank of the Escambia River, which became Santa Rosa County. I get really emotional about this type of primary resource being "hoarded" and, too many times, lost forever when the possessor dies and relatives, who don't know the value, throw away their things. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 27, 2000 10:35 AM Subject: Re: [FLESCAMB] Godwin Info > Mona, > > I do not know what your guidelines are for sending information to > FLESCAMB...so > since several people asked for this information then I hope it is not > inappropriate > to send it this way.
