Godwin II b. 8 Apr 1807 GA d 5 May 1897 Pollard, Escambia Co. AL and Elizabeth McCabe Brewton b 20 Jan 1813 d 15 Sep 1876 Esc. Co. AL. Elizabeth's parents were Joseph Brewton and Elizabeth Pringle. According to 1880 US Florida Census, Escambia County, Precint 5, Super. Dist. 18, Enum. Dist. 46, William GODWIN is son of Taylor GODWIN born in AL. I don't have the parents of Taylor GODWIN but he may be the grandson of William GODWIN of GA that moved to Conecuh Co, AL sometime between 1816 and 1820. Thanks Sharon
