We are a publishing company that produces school textbooks. We are currently working on a Florida History book for 4th Graders. (In 4th grade they learn the history of their state.) We need a portrait (painting) of a woman who would have been an early Fl settler. Must be prior to 1820. We would like to use this as a full-page Chapter Opening piece. Reproduction payment for use in this book will be around $500 for the right painting! We're having an awful time finding something appropriate, especially of a woman. Might you be able to help?
