    3. FYI, fellow Listers !! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I was looking for a program to stop those annoying POP-Up Ads and POP Under ads, and found this FREE downloadable Software, and loaded it to my computer. It did stop some of them, BUT it allowed certain ads through and when you go to their site to find out how to stop those few ads, they tell you you must download and use their Profeesional Version which costs XX$$ to truly stop the ads. I have Symantec spam and virus programs. I DID NOT order their software but am looking for something that WILL stop the ads. Does anyone use a good one from an honest company ? TO: Panicware.com I have had this program on my computer for only a week and now I remember WHY I dropped it the first time. Your "FREE" offer is a scam to open my computer to other POPUPs and POPUNDERS to scare us into BUYING your more expensive programs !! WELL, it didn't work !! I will NEVER use or recommend your programs to anyone ! In fact, I am going to be sure everyone I know is AWARE of your SHAM free software offers and I am reporting you to my ISP and AOL and all the message lists I am on to be sure no one esle falls prey to your MARKETING ploy ... and to warn them that you are the LIARS and CRIMINALS you are !! 3. I use the program offered with Windows 98 where, if you can grab the addresses, you can block these popups. BUT the catch I find is that if you are running a program - like yahoo or ancestry.com, they advertise to support their sites and you can not block their ads. For spam, I have a local ISP that uses webmail to block spam and it DOES A WONDERFUL job. ----- Original Message ----- From: "sheila martin" <sheilam78@comcast.net> To: <FLESCAMB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 02, 2003 8:46 AM Subject: [FLESCAMB] Free Software Scam !!
