Joseph, Would you be willing to have the information that you have put on the Escambia County GenWeb page? It would be a permanent place for it where everyone could see it. I would be glad to put it on. -- Ginny Deagan - Pensacola, FL Escambia Co. Joe, Last email for the night, I'm afraid!--Getting up at 5AM! Havent found my folder on Union Hill yet, but I'll keep looking, it's around here somewhere! For those who know me, I'm sorry to say Union Hill DID get read a long time ago--by us--but wasn't in the area that got put in the books---it would have been in the next volums, I believe! Anyway, they seem to have few, if any, records at the church, as the lady told me one day IN THE CEMETERY! You may have more than anyone, Joe, and if you could copy it and share it with the West Fla Genealogical Society, I'm sure someone would love to have a copy of your records. Let us know if that is feasible----how much would it cost---roughly! Thanks, all, Evan (Now, where IS that folder!!!??? I'm still lookin'. I'd love to meet an organized genealogist!!! ;=) But I'm the WORST!!) -----Original Message----- From: Joseph M. Doris...It is in Myrtle Grove....If you have any family buried there or if they were members of the church, I have some old Church records from 1860 to about 1910. They list some of the people, some deaths, and some minutes of the church. I have been wanting to make copies of it or transcribe it and give it to the page but havent had a chance. I am from the families of BOYETT, McNAIR, TANTON, HELTON, and others that are listed in the records. What surnames do you have. Joe
Well, Ex-----------cu-u-u-u-u-u-u-se Me, JINX! That's what I get for looking at your email address, huh? OK, let's try it. Joe , sounds like the McNair's that I know and love. Doris
Joe, the McNairs are real good friends of ours. Tommy McNair still lives in Myrtle Grove. His twin Dorothy Commerford lives near by. Maxine died back around 1986. Which ones are you kin to ? Doris
Joe, I lived about four blocks from that cemetery for 30 years. Now I live in Cantonment. I would be happy to go over and check it out for you though if no one has your information. I have two cemetery books, but can't find Union Hill in it. Maybe Evan has it. ? The families that you mentiond are well known in that area. Let me know if no one gets back to you. Doris

Thanks for the warning. I never go by myself, usually, not even to a big cemetery such as Bayview. I was doing a quick drive through on the way to a softball game at Tate. I was mainly trying to locate it for later. If I hadn't seen the Herrington plot right by the side of the road, I wouldn't have dallied as long as I did. Still didn't stay long enough to take any pictures or read the tombstones (couldn't be late for the game). After your warning, I'll make sure I take a group with me if I go back. Thanks Janet
