    3. You mentioned that you are familiar with most of the cemeteries - Do you know if there is any published record on the Godwin cemetery? I know there are some graves whose markers are gone - and have been for over ten years. Thanks, J. 2. Joe, you asked who Maxine McNair's parents were. I have called Donald her brother, and can't seem to get in touch with him. Maxine married a Sarver. They all still live in Myrtle Grove. They have been there for eons. Those pesky frogs migrated from Florida. I haven't heard one in a long time lol. Doris

    1. [FLESCAMB] Jordan Cemetery
    2. I recently went out to Jordan Cemetery to take pictures for someone on the Florida List. Granted, it is in need of a good cleaning. The Tombstones that I took pictures of are black with mildew and hardly readable. I could tell at one time someone had lovingly taken care of thier family plot. I was concerned and asked the person that I took the the pictures for and she said " there's no one left, that she knows of ". There is a Camellia Bush planted there about 12 ft. tall and in full bloom. Grass has grown over some of the graves. However at no time was I ever in danger ! That is a nice neighborhood and brand new homes are being built ( as I write this). There is a house under construction that is right next to the cemetery. In fact I would say that the cemetery is a blight on the neighborhood. Unlike other areas of this city, Cantonment is a safe place to live and visit, so far ! If anyone would like to go to the Jordan Cemetery to help clean it up, give me a call. I will help clean and stand guard for those that are in fear ! Doris
