    3. Hello, I just found out I have a Fleming in my family tree, and two online genealogies I found would seem to indicate that the Fleming line traces back to James (IV) King of Scots. But the two trees disagree on the details in a couple places and I was wondering if there is a definitive source for these connections. Specifically, the line I'm tracing is that of my 5G Grandmother, Ursula FLEMING, b. 1685 St. Peters Parish, New Kent Co., VA, d. ca. 1760, husband Tarleton WOODSON 1685-1762. Ursula's father is listed as a Colonel Charles FLEMING, b. 1652 Scotland, d. 10-17-1717, Henrico co., VA, wife Susannah TARLETON. Charles' father is John FLEMING, b. 1633 Scotland. And so on. But one of the two genealogies I found (a Gedcom file) re-shuffled the wives and also seems to have misplaced 2 or 3 generations and exchanged some of the siblings involved, for example exchanging John FLEMING III (b.12-9-1589 Kincardine, Scotland) with his brother Thomas FLEMING (b. ca. 1595). Any help on the definitive relationships and particularly on verifying the first 2 or 3 individuals noted above would be much appreciated.
