Hi Flemings: I have these specific Fleming families that I have found on several census' that I have at home. The surname could be Flemming or Fleming. If you have researched the census' you know how hard the handwritings are to read. So I have used a magnifying glass and tried to reprint these names as good as I can.... HOPE THIS HELPS SOME FELLOW FLEMING RESEARCHERS: 1860 ORLEANS PARISH CENSUS WARD 6 June 18, 1860 Jacob Fleming (head) W (w means white) age 24 professor birth place St. Bartholmew Ursulie Berlin wife - W age 26 Melanie W 24 - St. Bartholmew Cornelia Daught. This census had a lot more information. Fleming, Albert - Head - W Age: 36 Albert was born in Louisiana. His father (no name listed) was born in Pennsylvania and his mother (no name listed was born in Louisiana Josephine - wife - W age 35. she was born in Indiana. Her father (no name listed) was born in Kentucky and her mother (no name listed) was born in Indiana. Roycee - son - age 5 he was born in Louisiana. I'm not sure about this first name. I don't have any more information than I have already printed. I just thought this would help someone find there missing relatives. Maybe some of you have time to send the Flemings/Flemmings that you've found on your census reports? Might help the rest of is find our missing relatives..... till later, Lynn
