Hi, my name is Bill Davis and I live in Baton Rouge, LA. I am doing research on my ancestors with the surname of RAGAN. I was curious when I came across the FLEMING web page since my great grandfather was Peter Fleming Ragan who married Martha McGarrah. Martha was from Friendship (Sumter Co.) GA. I do not know who Peter Fleming's mother was---possibly a Fleming? PF's father was James Ragan from Lancaster, SC and I have that he married Elizabeth ? James was born in 1809 and died in 1886. Elizabeth ? was born in 1818 and died in 1865. Children were: Alfred, James, Peter Fleming (b 1829 d 1905), W.L., Lucenda, and J.C.
