Hello to all my fellow FLEMING searchers!! I have been sitting back watching all of these queries coming in. I knew there were tons of FLEMINGS but had no idea there were this many. My FLEMINGS are believed to have originated in SCOTLAND..... Some of the names on my tree are: John FLEMING born abt 1728 married Mary SCOTT ----John was apparently the "Laird of Craggenfern" (? spelling) John and Mary had a son also John FLEMING married JANET ROSS BOB..here's a question for you..My FLEMING family connects to the FRANCIS clan...as a matter of fact my maiden name is FRANCIS ....Do you think we connect elsewhere?? In more recent times Nicholas FLEMING 1853-1935 md Charoltte BRONSON (sometimes BROWNSON) 1864-1934 ....Their daughter MARTHA FLEMING 1895-1963 married WALTER FRANCIS 1894-1974 Martha and Walter are my ggrandparents....
