    1. Fleming Roll Call
    2. Here is my Fleming/Flemman story: My 7th greatgrandfather was Stephen Fleming/Flemman who was born perhaps in Tyrone, Ireland about 1695 and died in Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co., NJ in 1755. There are a few different stories of the origin of Stephen and his family. Here are three: Version 1) Stephen Fleman, with brothers Thomas, Samuel and John went to NJ from Ireland. Thomas and Samuel settled in NJ somewhere, Stephen settling in Monmouth County, NJ. Version 2) Stephen had brothers Thomas, William, Andrew and Samuel -- all sons of Malcolm, all from Ireland. Version 3) Stephen had brothers Jacob, John and James. They were from Scotland -- Stephen went to NJ another brother went to NY and the third brother went to Kentucky. Does anyone have any information about this family that would help me prove or disprove any of the above theories? I descend from Stephen's daughter Jane/Jeane who married Daniel Havens in Monmouth County, NJ about 1735. Thanks very much for any help you can give. Joe Collins Glendale, CA [email protected]
