Jean: Can you be more specific about where in Canada and where in Ireland your Flemings are/were? One of my Fleming ancestors, Michael Fleming, b. Mitchellstown, Co. Cork, Ireland, 1823, came to New Brunsick, Canada about 1838 to join his older brother (I don't know which older brother) and then went o Boston (1840) and then to Louisiana (ca. 1843) and then to Burlington IA (ca. 1858).
