Hello, I posted my Fleming family awhile back but I just found a new Fleming who lived in Tennesee, previously I thought my Fleming family had all been in the North. On Nov. 17, 1881 a local newspaper had this death notice: FLEMING - In East Florence, November 14, 1881, Luther Fleming, formerly of Tennesee, son of Solomon Fleming, aged 45 years. Here is the rest of the family as far as I know so far: Father: Solomon Fleming b: abt Mar. 1798 in CT d: Aug. 2, 1891 in Florence, Oneida Co., NY buried: in Grilley Cemetery, Florence, NY Mother: Sally b: abt. Nov. 1802 in CT d: Apr. 30, 1875 in Florence, Oneida Co., NY buried: in Grilley Cemetery Children: Lewis L. Fleming b: abt. May 1834 in CT d: Aug. 25, 1903 in Redfield, NY buried in Redfield Cemetery married: Nancy Groat (1836-1891). Luther Fleming b: abt. 1836 d: Nov. 14, 1881 in Florence, NY Mary A. Fleming (married E.A. Wakefield of Camden, NY and then Mr. Whitford of Florence, NY) There is a picture of Lewis L.
