Lynn - No, we haven't communicated previously, although I've seen your name on some queries. I just found this Fleming list a couple of weeks ago, and have been doing family research for only two years. There are no Murrays in my family tree, AS FAR AS I KNOW. My Francis James Fleming entered the U.S. in 1844 and married Catherine Murphy in 1853. Have no background on his family in Ireland (possibly County Cork). If his descendants are any indication of proliferation, there were probably lots of his family left in Ireland and it's very likely that many siblings also came to U.S. If you haven't yet seen the publications of the Archdiocese of New Orleans (baptisms, marriages, etc), I'll look for Michael (Charles Michael, Michel) Murray and Catherine Flemings' marriage date the next time I go to the genealogy library.
