He was the grandson of Thomas DUNN and Nancy HACKNEY, and the son of Pleasant DUNN and Emiline RODEN and was born on 1/1/1850 in Carroll County MS and died on 3/18/1928 in Lindsay, Tulare County CA. He married 1st LeAnn Unknown before 4/30/1876 and they had the following children: William Melton, Rosa Lee "Rosie", and Genia. He married 2nd Mary Elizabeth FLEMING (Daughter of Jack FLEMING and Unknown MORGAN) on 8/10/1881 in Collin County TX. Mary Elizabeth FLEMING was born on 6/4/1864 in Nashville, Davidson County TN and she died on 5/18/1944 in Lindsay, Tulare County CA.
