Hi! I just signed up with this list. I am desparately looking for the family of my great-grandmother, Laura FLEMING. She was born 19 Jan 1854 (according to her headstone) and she was supposedly born in Texas. She was married in 1882 to Louis (Luke) DODSON, probably Texas. They had a daughter two years later. Effie Lewis DOTSON was born 1 Jun 1884. She died 17 Nov 1886 in Henderson, Rusk, TX. Right after the daughter died, they had a son, my grandfather. Louis Fleming DOTSON was born 13 Dec 1886 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches, TX. Then Laura died 28 Jul 1894 in Henderson, Rusk, TX. There is a strong possibility that she is the daughter of Laird FLEMING of Panola County, TX, but I have not been able to prove a connection yet. Anyone recognize her? Charlotte M.
