It may have something to do with Agnes. We know that her father's name was William and that she was born between 1700/1710. The birth place has been listed as Edinburgh. I'm not sure if Campbeltown was a small nearby village. I have yet to find Campbeltown, Argyll (shire?/county?), Scotland. I look forward to your best-guess thoughts on the above. Bob Francis
