I saw the question earlier which mentioned John FLEMING in Clinton Co, PA so I thought this would be a good time for me to bring up my own questions. I have been told that my David FLEMING who is found in Erie Co, PA in the 1800 & 1810 census is a son of John FLEMING Esq. who settled about 1770 in Bald Eagle Twp. Northumberland Co, PA (now Clinton Co). The source of this information has died, leaving no documentation. According to a Will (dated 1 May 1777) left by John FLEMING Esq of Bald Eagle Twp - he did have a son named David. Does anyone know for sure if the Erie Co David is the son of John FLEMING Esq of Bald Eagle Twp. David FLEMING of Erie Co is said to have married Eleanor KING daughter of Robert & Elizabeth [McCullough] KING. Now....it appeared that the e-mail earlier tonight was refering to the John FLEMING of Bald Eagle Twp if so....I would be VERY interesting in obtaining more information about the William FLEMING who m. Mary MOORE and associated families. I have been running into so many Flemings with the same names in Pennsylvania that that I may be way off base here - any help would be appreciated.
