Hi Fleming researchers, I have a Thomas Fleming, born 1827 in Ireland, perhaps in Co Down, most likely in Ulster, who emigrated to Lanarkshire, then Ayrshire, Scotland. His parents may have been William and Martha, if naming patterns were followed. He married in May 1849 in Lanarkshire, Scotland to Margaret McIlraith, who was also born Ireland, c1829. Their children were: William b1850, Robina b1852 , Martha b1854, Thomas b1856, Mary b1858, Robert b1860, Jane & Margaret (twins) b1863, Elizabeth b1868, and William b1870.
