I was just curious how these tests work. Do you have to goto a clinic somewhere for them to take a sample or do they send you some type of kit, and you send your sample to them? Also the Paternal Lineage Test (Y-Chromosome 33) vs the Advanced Paternal Lineage Test (Y-Chromosome 46), does the 46 one include the 33 + 13 more or is it completely separate. I am assuming the Maternal Lineage Test (Mitochondrial DNA) is completely different then both the 33 & 46. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
