Col. Thomas Fleming-their dtr. Susannah m. Col. Thomas Randolph-son of Col. Wm. Randolph & Mary Isham Randolph-both lines of royal descent. For years the story was perpetuated that the Flemings of Va. were descended from the Earls of Wigton of Biggar, Scotland. This has been never been confirmed. Does anyone know of any recent information from valid research that would shed any new light on the Fleming/Wigton enigma?
