Poole is a very common name in Southern Scotland... How certain are you that Albert "Alby" Fleming's wife was Lovise Thayer? Where did you find this? On the census records it appears to be Lovica...and they have a daughter named "Lousia". It seems likely to me that her name was probably Louisa. Where does the Thayer come from? In one census recor, I believe it's 1860 they have a 61 year old Susannah Thomas living with them (Albert and Lousia do). Do you know what the connection is? Could she be Louisa's mother?
